In addition, Jakarta Maritime Consultants can provide on-going design support during the production process. Plan reviews and approvals are performed by our team of Marine Engineers, Naval Architects, Electrical Engineer, Master Mariners and Mechanical Engineer who are up to date with the latest Standards and Regulations.

- Role of Class, overview of Rules applicable to ship design or construction.
- Ship design process, Rule requirements, plan approval, inspection/survey of :

Hull:
- Design loads, longitudional strength and scantlings, local strengthening, engine seating, bottom structure, bulkheads, damage stability, opening and closing appliances, ventilators, air pipes, anchoring or mooring equipment, welding, NDE, hull inspection, workmanship, testing.

Machinery :
- General requirements, piping design requirements, pumping and piping, prime movers, shafting, stern tube, propeller and rudder, steering gear, boilers and pressure vessels.

Electrical :
- Load analysis, electrical powering, single-line diagram, electrical installation.

Fire Safety Requirements :
- Prevention of fire & explosion, escape.
